#LMAday

It’s pretty simple really… It’s all about spending the first Saturday of the month looking after your mental health or that of someone else and then sharing that on social media with the hashtag #LMAday in order to inspire others to talk about mental health just as much as physical health.

#LMAday is an initiative of the Live More Awesome Foundation.

How

WHAT DO I DO?

Anything that works on and improves your mental health! Our modern lifestyles are the main cause of the increase in mental health problems. We have too much stress, not enough purpose, our diets aren’t great, we don’t get outside enough, we don’t spend as much time in the community as we should and we don’t get enough WAAHOOS! in our life anymore. Lets change that, one #LMAday at a time.

SOME IDEAS OF THINGS TO DO:
GO OUTSIDE

Vitamin D is a key ingredient to mental health! Get outside, find some nature and enjoy it and take some friends with you...
DO AN ACTIVITY
DO AN ACTIVITY
Surfing, sports, walking, whatever... Do something active that makes you happy, by yourself or with some friends.
RELAX

Our lives are more stressful than ever, find a quite place and just chill. Bonus points if it's got a great view!
MEDITATE
MEDITATE
AKA 'Super Relaxing'. Either go and find an awesome place to meditate, or, learn to meditate... Start today!
EXPLORE
EXPLORE
Go somewhere you've never been... have an adventure and take some friends with you.
COMMUNE
COMMUNE
Get people together. Get them interacting. Get them helping each other. Create a community.
SPREAD LOVE
SPREAD LOVE
Spread the love around town... do a random act of kindness for a friend or a stranger.
